About Tradeify

I've been closely monitoring Tradeify since its launch by Brett Simba, a futures trader with six years of market experience. The company caught my attention with its bold entry into the proprietary trading space, focusing exclusively on futures trading.

What stands out about this newcomer is their unique approach to trader funding. Instead of following the traditional evaluation model used by most prop firms, Tradeify offeres instant funding with their "Straight To Funded" accounts... at a price.

Recent Changes and Market Position

My observations of Tradeify's evolution have been mixed. Their December 2024 policy changes significantly altered their market position, introducing stricter profit targets and reducing account sizes. These modifications have reshaped their competitive stance in the prop trading industry.

  • Higher profit targets requiring larger returns
  • Reduced maximum payout amounts
  • Increased pricing for smaller accounts
  • Modified payout policies for larger accounts

Sounds so bad, right? But all firms are periodically adjusting their rules and account specs to help them make more money from bad traders while being able to remain profitable and pay out successful traders. It's all a balance. We've seen what happens to firms claiming to have the easiest rules, such as Fast Track, which shut down in December last year.

Account Types and Pricing

The platform offers three distinct paths to funded trading, each designed for different trader profiles and experience levels.

Advanced Account

I found the Advanced Account to be most suitable for experienced traders who are confident in their strategies. The account sizes range from $50k to $150k, which provides significant trading power. What I particularly appreciate about this option is:

  • Strict evaluation process that maintains high standards
  • Higher profit splits compared to other plans
  • Access to both Tradovate and NinjaTrader platforms

Growth Account

The Growth Account caught my attention as an excellent middle-ground option. During my review period, I noticed this account type offers a more gradual path to funding with less stringent rules. Currently, there's a 50% discount promotion running, making it particularly attractive for newer traders. Key benefits include:

  • More lenient trading parameters
  • Lower initial investment requirement
  • Step-by-step progression system

Straight to Sim Funded

I've seen many traders gravitate toward the Straight to Sim Funded option, which bypasses the evaluation phase entirely. This account type provides immediate access to simulated trading with potential for real funding. The current 30% discount (as of January 30th, 2025) makes it an appealing choice. Notable features include:

  • Immediate access to a funded account you can get payouts from
  • No evaluation phase required
